I enjoyed my beginner course with Karen in Autumn 2019 learning leatherwork skills which have helped me repair items for myself and friends. I plan to continue my training with Saddlery Training Scotland as and when I can.’

I can’t speak too highly of the skills of Karen and Philip. They have a great approach to teaching – basically learn by doing while having the experts at hand to guide you…and they are masters of their craft. A relatively intensive fun-filled five day course that flew by. The end result is we have new life skills that have opened our eyes into a new world. We’ll be back for more.

Karen and Philip made me welcome in their workshop and created a fun learning environment where I achieved more than I thought possible in that first week. The small group allowed us to set our own pace and also learn from each other as we all encountered different issues in our work. I have now visited several times and each visit has been as enjoyable as the first and I’ve made some good friends as a result. I have learned so much from Saddlery Training Scotland and the ongoing support and encouragement for the little business that I now have is invaluable.
